South Yorkshire Joinery

South Yorkshire's No.1 staircase manufacturer

Manufacturing quality bespoke staircases since 1988

South Yorkshire Joinery is a family run business first established in 1988 and based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We specialise in the design & manufacture of quality, purpose-made timber staircases. We predominantly work alongside loft conversion companies, self-build projects & local & national builders to deliver exceptional quality, value and service.

Quality Staircases

Our work is well renowned and can be found in private housing, hotels, international sports arenas, banks, building societies, churches and even as far away as Port Stanley Airport in the Falkland Islands.

We have proudly been manufacturing staircases within South Yorkshire since 1988 and pride ourselves in offering great quality staircases as well as friendly customer service, meaning the majority of our custom is from returning customers and recommendations.

We offer simple, good old fashioned honest work for a fair price.

All we need to supply your next stair is:

  • Finished Floor - Floor dimension

Top of finished floor level - top of finished floor level

  • Overall Width

How wide the staircase should be from outside string - outside string

  • Overall Going

How much space you have to work with, for example on a straight staircase it would be where the first tread starts and the last tread finishes

  • A Rough Sketch of the Proposed Stair
